Christie Howard

PROJECT MANAGER

Christie Howard began her career in Administration in the Oil & Gas Industry, but, after being “volun-told” to organize a few company and community events, she quickly fell in love with all things event-planning. Christie has been working with nonprofits and managing events for almost 10 years now. She is the Co-Founder of Zydeco Marathon in the heart of Cajun Country, a Boston-qualifying road race known for having the best food, music and fun. Before joining the STUDIO 4Forty team, she worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana for 6 years, where she had her hand in volunteer recruitment, event management, PR, communications, fundraising, community engagement, marketing, and more. Christie and her team at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana have already executed 5 very successful Wine Women and Shoes events, with more to come! She is both honored and excited to share her experience and unique skill set with other organizations around the country through STUDIO 4Forty! Christie currently resides in Lafayette, LA with her husband and three children. They spend most of their free time attending local festivals, traveling, camping, and enjoying the outdoors!
